The Department of Languages and Communication is proud to house KPVU-TV, an immersive and hands-on broadcast endeavor meticulously crafted to empower students in the art of creating high-end content across multiple media platforms.

Operated from our recently modernized, state-of-the-art television studio within the iconic Hilliard Hall, the core mission of KPVU-TV is to provide our aspiring mass communication, journalism and communication studies majors and minors with a dynamic and immersive laboratory experience. This experience is meticulously designed to cultivate their skills in the art of producing captivating and impactful radio, television, and film content. Our overarching aim is to equip our students with the expertise and insight they need to excel in the vibrant and ever-evolving realms of the entertainment and journalism industries.
